Cross-diagonal attachable scaffolding
Cross-diagonal attachable scaffolding, LSPSH-K 2000, is designed for finishing work and repairs of building facades and brick masonry, placement of the workers, materials, tools and equipment in the area of the construction and assembly work. Cross-diagonal attachable scaffolding can be used for buildings with complex configuration in plan and height as well as carrying out repairs and finishing works inside buildings and facilities
Cross-diagonal attachable scaffolding is a frame-tiered system made of tubular struts: supports, frames, longitudinal and diagonal bracing, joined in the process of mounting. Scaffolding is attached to the wall with grips, connected to the embedded elements in the walls of the building.
The configuration of scaffolding and their completeness is determined by parameters of the object for working on which scaffolding is established, and is indicated in the project on scaffolding.
The facility can be used indoors as well as outdoors with the following ambient conditions:
- temperature, ˚С . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . from -40 to 40;- relative humidity, % . . . . . . . . . . . . from 45 to 98;
- maximum wind load, kPa . . . . . . . . 0,3.
The number of types and size of scaffolding (sections size in the plan) are three: 1,0х3,01; 1,0х2,01; 1,0х2,51.
- Cross-diagonal attachable scaffolding is a frame-tiered system made of tubular struts: supports, frames, longitudinal and diagonal bracing, decks. Connection of the elements of scaffolding is carried out by means of centering elements arranged on the standards, clamps, rigidly fixed to the frames, clamps removable, couplers.
- The complete set of elements is determined by the project on scaffolding.
- The list of elements and their application are given below (pic1). The shape and the features of the elements are given below (table3).

Mounting and dismantling guide
The construction given at the picture is an example of mounting and dismantling of cross-diagonal attachable scaffolding. The name, designation and completeness of the construction are given in Section 4 of this guide.
Selected for the assembling procedure elements should be checked for the absence of initial imperfections (deflections, cracks, etc.) In case of any defects those elements must be replaced.
Mounting procedure
Ground surface for scaffolding assembling must be planned, compacted and to ensure the outflow of water.
First, place wooden pads 50x275x275mm, made of pine or larch. Place screw jacks on top of wooden pads. The placement of pads must match the scheme of screw jacks’ placement.

Place vertical frames (pos1,2,3) on each pair of screw jacks (pos5), connected them with cross-diagonals (pos4) and bracings (pos13).

Place deck beams (pos9) or deck frames (pos16) on the upper end of vertical frames (pos1,2,3,) tubes.

Adjust the vertical position of the vertical frames (pos1,2,3) by means of screw jack nuts (pos5) using a plumb-line.

Mount wooden decks (pos6,17) on the beams (pos9) or frames (pos16).

Mount the 2nd lift vertical frames (pos1,2,3) on the spigots of the 1st lift vertical frames (tube-into-tube method).
Mount cross-diagonals (pos4), braces (pos13) and safety rails (pos14,15).

Place deck beams (pos9) or frames (pos16) on the 2nd lift frames.

Mount wooden decks (pos6,17) on the deck beams (pos9) or deck frames (pos16).

Place upper vertical U,L-shape frames (pos7,8) on the frames (pos1,2,3).

Mount safety rails (pos14,15) on the 3rd lift.

Connect grips (pos11) to the frames (pos1,2,3) with the help of swivel coupler (pos10).
